As the New Year's bells rang, we embarked on a magical journey to Hokkaido, venturing into the enigmatic Noboribetsu Hell Valley - a world coated by frost but secretly cradling warm streams beneath its frozen land. Despite the biting cold, the reeky steam of nature's embrace made us forget the chill, as the crows flew alongside the passionate geysers, crafting scenes straight out of an alternate realm. 🌬️🦅 During our adventure, we delved not just into this unique landscape but also experienced the local culture - soaking in steaming onsens, savoring delicious cuisine, and finally resting in Japanese classical rooms adorned with tatami mats. Despite the rush, the hotel we chose, with its unexpectedly great value and meticulous upkeep, perfectly symbolized the essence of "old charm with a new twist." 🏨🍜 After a day of exploration, Takki and I shared warm embraces back in our tatami room, finding the temperature of love in this distant snow land, along with a sweetness and passion that belonged solely to us. 💖👬
