ABOUT TKKT

We are TKKT.

TKKT comes from Takki + KT.

Takki is Takki. KT comes from Kun Ting, the Mandarin version of Quentin.

Real boyfriends. Real chemistry.
Loving, messy, and a little filthy.

The story began in 2019.

2019

WE MET

We met while we were both still at university.

It started quietly — an evening together, long conversations, shared meals, and more and more reasons to see each other again.

Before long, being part of each other’s everyday life felt completely natural.

HOW WE MET
02
2020 — 2022

THE DISTANCE YEARS

The pandemic changed the way we lived.

Takki was still studying, while KT had started working. We spent most of those years apart, meeting again during Takki’s university breaks.

In between, there were messages, long calls, and a lot of thinking about each other — often enough to leave us smiling for no particular reason.

BACK TO EACH OTHER

In April, we reunited in Thailand and filmed more of our time together — everyday moments, little couple clips, and some more private ones.

Looking back, some of them still feel especially sweet: a little shy, a little playful, and full of the joy of being together again.

TOKYO

Later that year, we moved to Tokyo together.

It felt less like a new beginning than finally stepping into a life we had been quietly planning for years.

For the first time in a long while, we shared the same everyday life: grocery runs, cooking dinner, cleaning up, watching something together at night, and coming home through the same door.

Ordinary things, but after years apart, they didn’t feel ordinary at all.

OUR FIRST VLOG

That same year, we filmed the first vlog that really felt like ours.

There was no grand beginning: we went out, bought things, talked, forgot things, and passed an ordinary afternoon together.

From there, the camera simply kept following us — from ordinary days to blue hour at Mount Fuji, falling snow in Hokkaido, autumn leaves in Kyoto, and all the places that came after.

Looking back, that was probably when TKKT really began to take shape.

LIFE IN MOTION

Over the next few years, we kept moving.

From Yunnan to Laos, the Philippines, and farther still — hiking through the mountains of Yunnan, slowing down by Erhai Lake, watching the sun set over the Mekong, and drifting between the islands of Coron.

Plans changed, we packed too much, and sometimes we got tired, but mostly we laughed and kept little pieces of the journey along the way.

Looking back, we covered a lot of ground and collected more memories than we realised. Somewhere along the way, we also got better at making a little life together wherever we happened to be.

NOW

AUSTRALIA

Now, life has brought us to Australia.

There are new routines to learn, new places to explore, and another home slowly becoming ours.

The rooms change. The view outside the window changes.

Still us.
02 / WHY WE KEEP RECORDING

One day, we will be old too.

We want to remember the road we walked together.

Not perfection.Remembering.

01A walk in the park.02A hot spring.03A hike.04A night we could not stop laughing.05A morning when neither of us could keep our eyes open.
03 / WHAT TKKT BECAME

From two names to a shared signature.

Takki + KT. The origin of TKKT is simple: it began as the two of us shortened into four letters.

It followed us year after year, quietly gathering the weight that only time can leave behind.

Today, TKKT feels less like a name and more like a signature beneath the years we have walked through together.

04 / SECRET GARDEN

When memories begin to gather, we want somewhere to keep them.

We call it Secret Garden.

A small universe for travel, ordinary days, intimacy, change — and time.

This site is one way into it: a place where scattered stories are gathered again, so we can find them later, and Sharkies can follow the path we have walked together.

The story happens in life. Here, we let it take root.
05 / THE TWO OF US

Two slightly different people,
living the same life.

KT / ON TAKKI

The Takki I know has two sides.

Outside, he is quieter and a little introverted. With me, he becomes entirely different.

Lively, quick, affectionate, and very clingy. Sometimes he is sweet. Sometimes he appears out of nowhere just to cause trouble.

Maybe we only hand over that many versions of ourselves when we truly feel safe with someone.

TAKKI / ON KT

Sharkies often call KT the “all-rounder”.

He is the one holding the camera, cooking, driving, and training beside me.

He is more outgoing than I am and finds it easy to get to know people. But the KT I know best is not really an “all-rounder”.

He is simply an ordinary person who takes very good care of me and whose attention somehow keeps finding its way back to me. He does many things well. What I love most is the way he keeps me in his heart.

THE ORIGINAL WITNESS
06 / HOW SHARKIES GOT THEIR NAME

It started with an IKEA shark.

Its origin is a little absurd — and very us.

A long time ago, there was a soft IKEA shark in our room. It was often nearby during some of our most private and relaxed moments.

Sometimes it simply stayed beside us. Sometimes it found its way into the scene. Over time, it seemed to have witnessed far too much.

A bystander.A witness.

And occasionally, perhaps not entirely an outsider.

Eventually, “Sharkies” became the name we use for the people who follow our stories.

No grand explanation. Just a private, ridiculous little fragment of our life that somehow became a name.

07 / WHAT WE SHARE, WHAT WE KEEP

What is public is what we chose to say.

We choose what parts of our life to share.

But intimacy does not erase boundaries.

What we have not made public, we would like to keep private.

We do not like private digging, or fragments being pieced together into guesses and treated as insight.

Knowing something private does not mean knowing us better.

We are only two ordinary people.

We are willing to be seen. We also want to keep living our life beyond what is seen.

08 / WHERE TO BEGIN

If this is your first time here.

There is no correct order. Take your time.

STILL GROWING

Secret Garden keeps growing.

We are still living, still changing. New cities, new days, and small moments that seem ordinary now may become the ones we miss most.

Some flowers bloom. Some fall. Years later, even a quiet leaf can bring back an entire season.

We do not want to stop time. We only want to leave each season somewhere it can be remembered.

As long as we keep walking through life together, the garden will keep growing.

New leaves.New corners.New flowers.
The garden does not need to be finished. It only needs room for what blooms next.
