On our way back, we stumbled upon a quiet little river by surprise. The forest—an intricate canvas of golden amber and warm greens—was perfectly mirrored on the glassy water. It was like stepping straight into a fairytale. Yet in such a gorgeous setting, he spent the entire walk deliberately teasing me.
